Princess

The soul of our sweet, beautiful, and ethereal Princess was called home to Jesus after her Earthly body needed rest from her valiant battle with immune-mediated pancytopenia. Princess was such a majestic, peaceful, tender-hearted, light-filled creature that it felt reasonable to suspect she was a guardian angel in the form of a kitty. There are no words in any human language which could aptly capture or express the impact she made on the lives of her family members in the short time we were blessed to share with her!

We loved and adored Princess so much, and it is easy to feel entitled to spend infinite number of years with her on Earth. Nevertheless, all animals are created by Jesus, they belong to Jesus, and in His sovereign timing, they will return to Jesus. We are privileged with the opportunity to be sound stewards of their lives, serving as the hands and feet of their Creator, while they are entrusted to our care.

With that being said, while Princess is in her Heavenly home, completely loved and restored (and most certainly using her paw to playfully lap water from the River of Life), we pray that God will use the millions of shattered pieces of our hearts to create a mosaic masterpiece as breathtakingly beautiful as was she until we are reunited one day!

In the Name of Jesus, we pray for everyone currently experiencing the illness or loss of a beloved (human or animal) family member! May He enter into your suffering and bring you comfort, peace, healing, and strength for the journey ahead!

In closing, we wish to thank Faithful Companion for their kindness, compassion, professionalism, and timeliness! You have been a source of bright light during a time of great heaviness and tragedy in our lives! May God bless and keep you abundantly!
