- Royal Oak, MIMy kitty was put to sleep on Sept.28,16. The vet recommended their services for my long-time companion who was elderly and ill. They did a wonderful job, returning her ashes in 24 hrs. This was my first experience, and highly recommend this company. Thank you.
- Northwest IndianaWe were blessed to have our Golden Retriever, Aslan, 10 years and he passed away very surprisingly one afternoon. We got Faithful Companion's number from our vet who strongly recommended them. We wanted to grieve and celebrate Aslan's life so we called Faithful Companion's at 8AM the next day. Within a couple of hours Jeremy arrived and he was so gentle and loving and supporting. We couldn't imagine a more perfect person to come out to our home. He spent time comforting us and telling us of his own loss and he treated Aslan well. Again Jeremy came back the next day to our home with Aslan's ashes in a beautiful wooden box. He talked and comforted us again. We strongly recommend their services. They literally could not have been any better.
- Northwest IndianaOur family recently lost our 14 year old dog, Bailey. She passed away peacefully at home, but my husband and I took her to the Vet just to confirm that she was gone. Coincidentally I had researched pet cremations near me just a few weeks before Bailey died, and I came across Faithful Companions in Cedar Lake. I’m so glad I did! We called Faithful Companions from the Vet’s office and spoke to the owner Tom who said they could either come pick her up, or we could bring her there. We wanted to see the facility, so we chose to take her there ourselves. It is a very nice and clean facility. We met with Patrick who was kind, comforting and helpful to us during that very difficult time. We chose a private cremation and a nice wooden urn with her engraving that Patrick did himself. He was very good at keeping us informed and delivered her cremains to our home the next day. He also engraved a smaller, matching urn for our dog, Indy, who we lost 17 years ago. Since that urn was not in stock and had to be ordered, Patrick kept us informed about when it would be delivered to their facility and the engraving done, and he delivered that urn to us less than a week later. We want to thank you so much for your kindness! We highly recommend Faithful Companions to anyone who has lost their beloved pet.
- Northwest IndianaAs our family knew the time was coming for our 14 year old dog Diesel to cross the rainbow bridge I had made several calls to find the best route for our family to go with this process. I was not comfortable with having to wait a week or longer to get him back home to us as both of my boys (19 & 9) grew up with him and when I made the call and spoke with Tom, he eased my mind and helped us through the process. My husband is a truck driver and I knew I couldn't go through this without him with me. We took Diesel to North Central emergency vet and began the process not only were the staff there amazing, I called Tom and he said Patrick was headed up to pick Diesel up after we were done. The next morning Patrick called and was awesome and answered every question I had. That afternoon Jeremy called and said he was on his way to bring Diesel back home. Faithful Companion staff are all so loving and caring that I could never imagine dealing with anyone else through all of this. Highly recommended to all that have pets that are truly family members. Thank you for everything you have done for us. The Williamson Family *Diesel*

- Naples, FLMy husband and I could not be more thankful for Faithful Companion. We never had to deal with the terrible loss of a pet until our Frankie passed away on August 25,2016. I had no idea how to deal with the loss/cremation of our Frankie, as he passed in the late evening at home. The staff walked us through the process and our choices. They were extremely and truly understanding, as they had to explain the process to me ten times over because I was crying and so upset. My husband and I are truly thankful and would highly recommend Faithful Companion to anyone who has to deal with the loss of a pet.❤️
- Northwest IndianaAs a veterinarian, I understand the importance of the human-animal bond. Our dogs and cats become much more than pets - they become family. When the time came for my 13 year old boxer, Jack, I didn't want him to be put away in a cold, dark place nor did I want to wait to get his ashes back a week later. As a pet parent, I chose Faithful Companion for their cremation service. They came to my house as the euthanasia was taking place and waited patiently outside until we finished saying goodbye. They gently took Jack away in a burial box and Tom, the owner, returned his ashes to me the next day. The basic urn is a beautiful wooden box and I also received a paw print, which brought me to tears. I will never forget what the staff at Faithful Companion did for our family and what they do for so many families. I will continue to recommend them to my clients! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
- Naples, FLMatt was so kind on the phone when I called to ensure my Bailey was picked up. He explained the sweet necklace that I ordered in detail and created a special paw print. He shared a personal story which really helped me. He then offered to bring Bailey home within the hour. I was so touched. Then, Michelle called and shared stories with me, let me cry and share my story. Yes, I believe they did their job well but what matters the most is they cared for Bailey and I when we needed it the most. Thank you for your compassion.
- Northwest IndianaMy heart was broken when Johnnie Raccoon became terminally ill. Johnny had been part of my life since I rehabiltated her starting at two weeks of her life. After her eyes were open, I learned that this baby raccoon was blind. She could never be released into the wild like the rest of the little raccoons that I rehabilitated each year. I had her for over ten years. I would not let her suffer. We had to help her over the Rainbow Bridge. Johnnie passed away Friday night, and we took her home from the vet. I had no time to think about cremation but my husband mentioned it. I decided that I wanted Johnnie with me always since I no longer rehab and will never have another raccoon to cuddle. But at least I would have her remains. On Saturday I found faithful companion. They were very kind. They cremated my beloved Johnnie, and we picked up her ashes on Sunday morning. We'd had her name engraved on her beautiful wooden box provided for her. We will always appreciate how they cared for her because Johnnie will always be in my heart.
