Chuck came to my house in Park
Forest, Illinois today to bring me the the remains of my beloved dog, Jake. He was so kind and so sweet with me at a time when I wasn’t doing at all well. Jake was probably the love of our lives and we miss him terribly. Yet Chuck was able to reach out to me in both a professional and personal way that helped me feel serene and much more able to cope. He listened to me and interjected comments that were meaningful and hopeful. As a hospice nurse, I appreciated his ability to listen and really hear my concerns. He is a credit to his profession. I hope he knows how thankful I am for his visit.
