Although we knew the time was coming it is never an easy decision to make. Our baby girl (age 14) quit eating for a couple of days and I was trying to get her to eat anything, scrambled eggs, chicken and rice…anything. We took her to the vet and found out she was in kidney failure.. We could have hung on to her for a few more days, maybe a week but I knew we would be back in the same position we were now. We made the decision to allow Riley to cross the rainbow bridge and put her out of misery. I could not have asked for a kinder, nore compassionate company to take care of Riley. Tom Groen and the staff at Faithful Companions are ALL outstanding and caring individuals.
