Our sweet 13 year old Chocolate Lab passed peacefully in his sleep on January 12th, in the early morning. As difficult as that situation is, we couldn’t be more grateful for the services provided by Faithful Companion. From the initial phone call, Russ was compassionate, respectful, and only referred to our good boy, Owen, by his name. He discussed all the options, and within an hour of calling, Katie arrived at our house to retrieve him. She was incredibly comforting, kind, gentle, and sweet. It really made a difficult day so much easier to deal with. Katie explained the process and discussed returning our boy home. The next day, she arrived at the exact time we discussed, and returned Owen’s remains to us. He is right back in his favorite spot in the living room, watching over us. I don’t have the words to fully express our gratitude, but we are very thankful and appreciative that people of your caliber exist, and that you helped tremendously in a very painful time for us.
