Sookie

Sookie was born in May 2013 and came to live with her forever family at 7 weeks old. She was the runt of the litter and barely grew to be 8 pounds at her heaviest. Over the years, Sookie’s personality emerged in endearing ways. She cut a classic, statuesque, Egyptian figure and had large pointy ears. She stepped delicately and leapt great distances without making any noise. The pink tip of her nose was so soft and always eager for a quick nudge. Her favorite pastimes were sunbathing in any beam of sunlight through the windows and growling menacingly at the doorbell. Most of all, she loved playing fetch with elastic hair bands and head butting her human parents for snuggles. She snacked on goldfish crackers and loved to watch television with her dad. She faithfully helped her mom with makeup every morning by chewing the brush handles and slept under the bed each night. Sookie died on 12/11/19. She was 6 years old and fiercely loved by her family. Her sister, Remi, is heartbroken without her best friend and constant companion. There will never be another cat like Sookie, and her family is grateful for her love, affection, and loyalty. Her memory will live on forever in our hearts and we treasure the time we were blessed to spend with our quirky, tiny girl. May she Rest In Peace and Eternal Love. ♥️

Sookie, sweetie, though you were small and serene, you brightened the days of many. You will be missed terribly. I know the afterlife has a brand new pack of hair ties waiting on you.

Sookie girl, you touched your human family and brought them so much love. You’ve crossed the Rainbow bridge and are batting those hair bows around. We’ll all miss you.
