Marley Marlene Burson

My precious little girl, Marley Marlene Burson crossed over the Rainbow Bridge July 1, 2019. I miss you so much but I knew it was your time to leave me and be with your best friend Linus and I’m certain he was smiling and wagging his tail when he saw you coming. I remember the day we met and I was sitting on the ground and you came crawling over to me on your belly. You were a rescue along with your puppies and I really was thinking of one of them because they were going to be larger dogs and I was looking for a companion for my big boy Linus who was about 80 lbs and you were only about half that size. I was afraid he might hurt you but it seemed like you had picked me out as your Mom so after discussing with your Foster Mom and agreeing that she bring a trainer with her when she brought you to our house for the introduction I agreed. I had been talking to Linus for some time about finding him a little girl companion. Your foster Mom Gina took you for a walk in the yard and Tanya the trainer held Linus’leash. Then Linus and I had our little talk. His head kept bobbing back and forth from watching you and listening to me talking. I told him we had been talking for a long time about her coming and that he had to help take care of her like he took care of me. He loved her at first sight. Unfortunately we lost our big boy years ago and it was just you and Mommy for a while. We grew old together. I really miss you Marley but know we’ll be together soon. Mommy loves you.
