Lady

Lady was adopted by Patti, Chris and Christopher as a young puppy in 2009. She quickly became part of the family. She often slept with Christopher at night and fell off his bed many times. Afterwards, she would “play injured” for a couple of days to get a little extra love. For a brief period, Lady’s ears were sticking straight up, and were super cute. But Chris loved petting and twirling her ears, which eventually made them bend and flop down.

Lady enjoyed going on walks with Dad every day after he got home from work. It was especially fun because she didn’t have to wear a leash and was allowed to poop wherever she wanted. After her daily walk, she enjoyed relaxing on the basement couch with Dad until Mom got home.

Lady was also a giant food lover. Mom loved giving her yummy treats every morning before she left for work and “accidentally” dropping stuff while she was cooking dinner for the humans. Crunchy lettuce was Lady’s favorite human treat!

Lady was a dog who loved her routines! If you didn’t feed her dinner on time, you better believe that she would let you know that she was hungry. And heaven forbid you leave her outside alone too long.

Lady leaves behind her loving Mom (Patti), Dad (Chris), brother (Christopher) and extended family who all loved her very much. Along with her human family, Lady also leaves behind her doggie niece (Luna) and nephew (Dale), who became her best friends after forcing themselves into her life.

Lady was a wonderful dog who was full of life and spunk. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

No longer by our side, but forever in our hearts. Rest easy, Lady! We love you!
