Honeybunn

My sweet bunny Honeybunn,
I rescued you as a baby from my father’s yard an incredible 13-and-a-half years ago. You had both pasteurella and a cuterebra, so I nursed you back to health. After that I introduced you to Cinnabunn, another domestic rabbit I rescued around the same time and place. You two both lived contentedly with my cats for several years until your bunny girlfriend died suddenly from GI stasis. A few of the cats then got closer to you to help heal your heart. In the last year you were diagnosed with a possible thymoma, and gradually declined in health, with chronic eye issues and a neurologic disease (head tilt and limited mobility). You loved your fresh produce, still eating it the day I had to put you to sleep. You will always be my fluffy white baby boy bun-bun, my first rabbit, who lived longer than I could have imagined! I miss your sassy attitude and snuggling with you. I hope your spirit has met up with Cinnabunn’s, beyond the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for visiting me in my dreams …

Dear Sandi, You have rescued countless animals & have given them the best care possible, that is why they live such long wonderful lives. Your Baby will be so missed by you, but what a gift you gave Honeybunn with your care & love. What an adorable white bunny Honeybunn was. So very sorry about your loss. Sending you love for your heart to heal.

Dear Sandi, I hope remembering Honeybunn's antics and the fact that you saved him and gave him the care he needed with all his health issues, will be a comfort to you as you are grieving his loss. I am so very sorry you lost yet another one of your babies! Have you ever thought about how many animal companions will be waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge? You have taken care of a multitude! And I know you remember them all, being the special person that you are!

Dear Sandi, What a handsome little bunny, he was so very lucky to have you as his "mom". Our companion animals eventually leave us but they live on in our hearts and are never ever forgotten. Much Love.....
