Gracie

    My Dear “Niece” Gracie,

My sister, then I, provided a home for you and 2 of your 5 offspring (1 died after birth, 2 were placed elsewhere) after our family friend, Nina, passed away, leaving 3 cats to be placed. In the almost 8 years you lived in my home, you were relatively healthy and seemed content living with your daughters in my smaller catroom. I was always enamored of what looked like a milk mustache on your sweet face, and thought that you had very pretty calico daughters. After Cali passed away, I noticed that you and your other daughter Sally became closer. Cali might have had a heart condition like you, but succumbed earlier (age 14) than you (age 17). I’m sorry that your medical treatment did not ultimately help you – we tried. I hope that you have reconnected with the spirits of Nina and the offspring who have preceded you in death. I will do my best to take good care of Sally, who misses you like I do, until it is time for her to meet up with you …

    Love, Sandi

I'm so sorry, Sandi, for yet another loss, Gracie is lovely, and you, Sheri and Nina made it possible for her to live a wonderful 17 years. All the lovely, beautiful souls that have moved on now from all of us, I feel them still, their presence is ongoing, everlasting .. My Love and Empathy Always, Sister Debbie <3

Dear Sandi, What a loving home you provided with the very best care possible for your Beloved & Beautiful Cat Gracie. Thank goodness you and your sister took her and her babies into your very loving home. You really are an Angel! So very sorry for your loss. I know your heart of gold is broken. May your heart heal with time.

Dear Gracie, You are so beautiful, and I hope you met up with Nina and your offspring at Rainbow Bridge and that all of you are now happily together. This is my wish for you. And meanwhile Sandi will take good care of your remaining daughter Sallie, who misses you, of course. You were so very lucky to have found a loving home with Sandi and all her animal friends! She misses you as well, of course...sadly she has seen so many of you leave.
