Ginny Greece

  • Date of Birth: 03/21/2006
  • Date of Passing: 11/01/2021

Ginny was born in the hills of Western Pennsylvania. I adopted her on May the 13th, 2006. I buckled her into the front seat of my Jeep, and we looked toward the road ahead and never looked back.
She loved car rides, and crossed the country several times with us, from the Tennessee Smoky Mountains to the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. She visited several National parks including the Great Smoky Mountains, Arches, Canyonlands, and Mount Rushmore, and even paid her respects at Bobbie the Wonder Dog’s memorial in Silverton, Oregon. She was even the most stylish girl on a visit to Aspen, Colorado.
She loved getting hugs, and would stop what she was doing to get one. She loved her toys and even knew them by their names. As she got older, she enjoyed bed-sitting with us, and loved a good pillow. She was small in stature, but big in personality. She took her role as princess very seriously.
She was with me through many big life events. I picked her up the day of my college graduation, and almost skipped it to stay with her. We moved to Tennessee with my future wife, and Ginny eventually warmed up to the idea of sharing me. While she wasn’t at our wedding, she was featured prominently on our invitations, and our artwork.
In over 15 1/2 years we were able to fit a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, hugs, playing, and love to last several lifetimes. She owned my heart the moment I first held her as a little fluffy puppy when I met her and her siblings.
She is missed by her human mom and canine brother Amos, her family in Pennsylvania, and the many people that knew her. Most of all, she is missed by me, her human daddy.
Ginny was preceded in death by her canine brothers, Brownie and Der Hund.
Until we meet again, my dear baby angel. I’ll always hold you in my heart.
I love you, sweet Ginny.
