Bear you are the most amazing pet I’ve ever had. You’ve been kind, listened, worried about me, sang and danced with me in the happy times and cried and comforted me during my sad times. You encouraged me through grad school. You made friends with everyone in the neighborhood and you got revenge on some who you wanted too. So patient so gentle and warm. So strong brave and fast when it came to chasing squirrels and cats. You growled at people who were bad news for me and melted the hearts of those you really connected with. I know you didn’t want to say goodbye, but if you were suffering significantly, then your suffering needed to end. Now you can take care of me and look out for me in ways that you never have before. You will now meet the people I loved before you were even born. You respected and loved your family and they respected and loved you too. The squirrels. cats, neighborhood deer and chickens will be moving in on your turf unless you say otherwise. I don’t want to consider replacing you anytime soon because their are responsibilities to consider that are greater now than ever before and there is no dog that would be anything like you. You were one of a kind. God broke the mold after He made you.
I’m sorry we won’t get to take the long walks I had been preparing for. I will live the rest of my life in a way in which you shall be proud. I will miss you forever and love you even longer. From your puppyhood until now your love and care will remain special to me. Rest well when you can. Play hard, find all the heavenly shady places and sunny spots your heart desires. We will see eac other soon enough.

Bear, You was such a good pet. I remember the first day we met and how shy you were. I will never forget how you use to sit down as soon as you see me with your brush to let me brush your fur. We have so many presious memories. I remember when we had family over and you was inside and it was time to take you outside and you spreaded your legs so you couldn't go out and how we all laughed because we know you wanted to stay in with us. Another time we were taking family pictures and you had to be held still to get in the frame then we said forget holding you and you stood in the next frame all on your on. I could go on and on about you Bear!! You will always be loved and truly missed.
