Joy Migliore

October 6, 2006 – November 21, 2015, Joy Migliore (Great Dane – Mantle). Joy will always be my forever-best-canine friend who became a big part of my heart with her kind, loving, and gentle spirit. She loved people and people loved her. Where ever we would go, she would draw attention and her charisma would turn strangers into friends – that’s the kind of unique personality she had, and to me she was always that loyal, faithful, and protective friend to the end. The bond I shared with Joy was truly an amazing gift from God, and so many times I was blessed to discern God speaking through Joy in the various circumstances and situations we shared via our walks, talks, and road trips. I always referred to her as my “undercover unicorn-angel” who inspired beautiful thoughts that shined sunshine on my soul! Although I am deeply grieved at her passing, I am eternally grateful for God’s blessing of Joy in my life. Her memory lives on and by faith I believe she will greet me with Jesus when it’s my time to come home, because with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26) and the Joy of the Lord will always be my strength (Nehemiah 8:10). I love you Joy forever and I like you for always – thank you for the great times we shared and Viva the Joy!!!

What a beautiful testimony of God's love! Many people go a lifetime without that type of love/companionship. God has demonstrated to you that His eternal love is represented in many ways, often unexpected. May God bless you and keep you during this time of healing.

I remember joy prancing across my backyard. She ran like a deer. When Joy would come over to visit, she always showed affection and kindness to my little dog Cookie. Joy was a great dog, she will truly be missed.

Thank you Bob for your kind words of remembrance. Joy could run like the wind in her younger years that's for sure! She was as big as a full grown deer and could run with the best of them too -- my "dear" friend! :-)
