Finnigan

“And you’ll miss me more as the narrowing weeks wing by. Someday duly, oneday truly, twosday newly, till whensday.”
    ― James Joyce, Finnegans Wake

Finnigan was born in Southern California, moved to Cincinnati where he spent 1.5 years in the Historic East Row on Overton Street in Newport Ky. He enjoyed the Newport Dog Park, Molly Malone’s, band practice with the Emerald Society Pipes and Drums and Newberry’s Cafe & Prohibition Bar while living in Kentucky. He especially loved his neighbor Rosemary, Katlyn and Hilary. He move to Ferndale Michigan in 2014 with Fiona, his adopted mom Annie and Mr Gray. He loved his Ferndale neighbors and visiting downtown Rosie’s, Red Hook coffee, Soho’s and Fido does Ferndale. Loved by his Ferndale community, he will be missed by all. Aunt Kate, Craig, Randy, Kim and Dwight were amongst his favorite Ferndalians. He loved sticks, any treat, eating everything he should not, squirrel watching/hunting with Fiona, watching mom cook in the kitchen, his big red ball, his swimming pool, outings where he can be social and get attention, most of all his girl Fiona.
He had a short life of 4.5 years due to degenerative spine disease and IBS. He leaves behind his girl Fiona, his only love, his adopted mom Annie, cats Mr. Gray and Sweetie Darling. His favorite nieces Erin and Brielle.

Wake will be held at his owner’s house at 9 PM Thursday, December 21, 2017 for those who knew him well.

They lived and laughed and loved and left.
